About
The former Harumi Railway Bridge, which spans the Harumi Canal, is a historic railway bridge completed in 1957. It once supported Tokyo’s economic growth as freight trains passed back and forth across it. This bridge is known as the first railway bridge in Japan to use both the Lohse girder and continuous PC girder. Even after the railway line was discontinued in 1989, the bridge remained, and it has now been revitalized as a promenade, serving as a relaxing spot visited by many people.
