Ganryu Island
Ganryu Island, known in Japanese as 巌流島 (Ganryū-jima), is a small, flat island located in the Kanmon Strait between Honshu and Kyushu in Japan. Its official name is Funashima (船島), but it is more commonly referred to as Ganryu Island, named after the fighting style of Sasaki Kojirō, who famously dueled Miyamoto Musashi there in 1612.
